Jose Marie Borja Viceral, professionally known as Vice Ganda is a 43-year-old Filipino comedian, television presenter, actor, and singer. He is a regular host-judge on ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show “It’s Showtime”, and has starred in several films, eight of which are considered to be the highest-grossing in Philippine cinema. He is best known for his stand-up routines, in which he uses observational comedy, situational irony and sarcasm in pertaining to Filipino culture and human sexuality. He is also the first openly gay endorser for Globe Telecom.

He underwent depre$$ion, which made him want to stop doing what he loves to do and eventually give up on them. However, after speaking with two of his friends, Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid, he realized that it’s “the devil” that was “playing” with his mind, so that it will bring him down and make him think negative. Since then, he fought and decided to always stay positive. In early 2018, on air interactions between Vice Ganda and Ion Perez, a supporting cast member of “Its Showtime”, fueled audience speculation that their relationship was more than just casual.

The famous comedian recently went viral in different social media platforms as he poked fun towards Pastor Apollo Quiboloy who earlier claimed that he was the one responsible for stopping the earthquakes in Mindanao. Apollo Carreón Quiboloy is the founder and leader of the Philippines-based Restorationist cult called the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name, Inc. He has made claims that he is “The Appointed Son of God”, as well as being “The Owner of the Universe”.

Vice Ganda challenges the Pastor in one of the episodes of “It’s Showtime” where he was discussing with his co-host Jhong Hilario and the “Tawag ng Tanghalan Celebrity” champions’ contestant Gian Magdangal about who the real enemy of Cardo is?
“Nako, kabahan si Cardo! Si Quiboloy lang ang magpapahinto ng Ang Probinsyano, abangan niyo ‘yan. So ano, Quiboloy, hinahamon kita, ipahinto mo nga ang Probinsyano. Napahinto mo pala ang lindol, e. Napakayabang n’yo pala!” Vice hilariously said.

S“abi niya daw, stop! Sige nga, punta ka sa gitna ng EDSA, stop mo yung traffic dun! Iba ka Quiboloy!” the comedian even added.
