Most women are guilty about the fact that they often feel insecure with so many things about themselves. It may be about their physical looks, their faces, their insecurities and so many things about their whole self but more than that what’s more important is how women care for themselves.

Recently, Catriona Gray shared a very inspirational message to everyone especially to those people who are having insecurity issues about their own self. Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray is a 25-year-old Filipino-Australian model, singer, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2018. She is the fourth Filipina to win the Miss Universe competition. Previously, Gray was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018 and Miss World Philippines 2016.

The Filipina beauty queen proudly showed off what she looks like without her makeup on in her social media account. She wrote a caption saying,
“This is the skin I wake up every day. I love playing with makeup and being glam, but I’ve also grown to love the skin I wake up in acne scars, moles and all.

“I too have days where I don’t feel confident, or my insecurities are louder…but that’s okay. Loving yourself as you are is a journey, but it’s a journey worth taking,” she wrote on Instagram.

A lot of netizens were inspired by her meaningful post. Who would have thought that a successful beauty queen like her would still have some skin blemishes and feel some insecurities some time? It only goes to show that even though we have a lot of imperfections in our bodies, we can still love and care more about our own being. Her inspirational post was indeed great empowerment to a lot of women not just in the Philippines but all over the universe. We can be perfect with our imperfections as long as we learn to love ourselves.
