Anne Curtis Smith-Heussaff better known as Anne Curtis is a 34-year-old Filipino-Australian actress, model, television host, VJ, and recording artist. She is currently one of the hosts of the noontime variety show “It’s Showtime”, which airs on ABS-CBN. She was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia to Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina from Bolinao, Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer.
Her father is a World WÂr II veteran and married Carmencita Ojales in 1982.she has a younger sister named Jasmine who is also an actress. On their father’s side, they had a half-sister named Clare who passed away in 2007 due to cardiovascular d!sease at four months old.
She being half-Filipino, would visit her mother’s relatives in the country with her family. In 1997, 12-year-old Anne was approached by a talent scout to ask if she would like to enter a children’s beauty pageant. Her father feared that it was a scam, while her mother wanted her to try it. Without her father’s knowledge, she then started to go to different talent agencies. By that time, she and her family decided to stay permanently in the country.
She could not speak or understand the Filipino language at the time, and so had to take classes. It was in December 2016 when she became engaged to her longtime boyfriend, restaurateur, and food blogger Erwan Heussaff, who is the brother of actress, TV host, and model Solenn Heussaff. On November 12, 2017, they got married in Queenstown, New Zealand. In November 2019, she announced her pregnancy via Instagram. A lot of her fans and supporters were very happy to learn the news that she will finally be a mother! She is currently enjoying her maternity leave in Australia and she seems very much happy as can be seen on her social media posts.
She enjoys her well-deserved vacation as she has been working a lot before even she is already pregnant. She often goes on beach trips with her mother.
