Kapamilya actor Matteo Guidicelli leads the army in their relief operations for the affected people in the Taal volcano eruption!



Gianmatteo Fernan Guidicelli, popularly known as Matteo Guidicelli, is a 29-year-old Filipino-Italian actor, model, karting driver, triathlete, and singer. He was born in Cebu City. He is one of three children of Gianluca Guidicelli, an Italian, and Glenna Fernan, a Filipino. His maternal grandfather is the late Cebu Provincial Prosecutor Vicente “Inting” Fernan cousin of then-Senator and Chief Justice Marcelo Fernan making him his Grand Uncle. He took an interest in acting after taking workshops at the New York Academy.

As soon as he came back to the Philippines, he took theatre courses at Brent International School and began to participate in plays. He also attended Columbia College in Chicago for two years to pursue a B.A. in performing arts in the field of musical theater. It was veteran actress Pilar Pilapil who introduced him to showbiz co-starring in his tv series debut “Agua Bendita”. It was in November 2019 when he got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Sarah Geronimo.




It was just recently when some of his photos together with the country’s army went viral online as he leads the army with their relief operations in Batangas which is currently experiencing an unfortunate situation because of the Taal volcano’s eruption.

According to some reports, the Kapamilya actor together with the Philippine army went to Sto. Tomas City, Batangas last Tuesday, January 14 to help the affected people there. He shared on his Instagram account that they went to the evacuation center in Barangay Poblacion 3 in Sto. Tomas.
It can be remembered that the phreatic eruption of the Taal volcano in Batangas surfaced on different social media platforms last January 12. The actor and the Army team ride in a military truck that has a lot of food, drinks, and clothing for more than 200 affected families in the province.
