Rita Daniela De Guzman Iringan, professionally known as Rita Daniela is a 24-year-old who is a Filipina singer, actress, and television host. She played Maureen Zalameda on “Impostora” way back 2017, and one of the main villains of the series. She became more popular as she portrayed as “Aubrey Palomares” in the GMA network’s television series “My Special Tatay” alongside Ken Chan, which made a big hit with their portrayal in the teleserye in 2018.
She is the granddaughter of the late Filipino actor Teroy de Guzman, her career was launched after being the first grand champion of QTV’s PopStar Kids. Since winning the contest, she has made numerous appearances on different shows on both GMA and QTV. Also, she was one of the members of the singing group “Sugarpop” a children’s group composed of the five finalists of the first season of PopStar Kids, which appeared regularly on GMA’s concert television show “SOP Rules”.

“Kasi, ang body positivity, hindi lang naman iyan for the bigger side, e. Siyempre, dun din tayo sa smaller side. Iba rin siyempre ang gusto nila na sana, nagkakalaman sila pero kahit anong kain ang gawin nila, hindi sila lumalaki.” The Kapuso actress said.
“Kasi, para po sa akin, tanggap natin lalo na sa Pilipinas, parang kahit gaano ka kagaling, hindi ka agad napapansin dahil sa timbang mo, di ba? Kasi, iisipin nila, ‘E, ang taba mo, e.’ E, ang liit mo, e, kulang ka sa…’” The actress continued.
She believes that a little effort in expressing self-love and body positivity will really make a long way and change some other people’s perspectives about body imperfections.
