Parents of baby Aki was very much grateful to all of the people who helped their s!ck child when he was still alive



Having a child is one of the greatest blessings we could ever have and we could ever experience. It was indeed a life-changing and wonderful accomplishment as you witness your child grow into mature and responsible individuals. But seeing our beloved children in pain and sÜffering from s!ckness can instantly break our hearts apart.

Just like what happened to this father whose photo went viral on different social media platforms as he sells banana cakes to earn money for saving his child, baby Aki. Baby Aki had now joined our Creator 17 days after his liver transplant.



It was on July 22, 2019 when sad news came to the families, friends and supporters of Baby Aki as he already earned his wings and passed away. Aquiro “Aki” Jazz Detablan was diagnosed with a rare liver d!sease affecting babies. Aki’s father was seen holding the poor child in his arms as he sells banana cakes on sidewalks just to raise P1.6 million for his procedure.
Photos went viral online, and earned the attention of many people. A lot of people had also help in raising the money needed for the baby’s transplant. The parents expected that their baby would soon get better as they flew to India for his operation. Jabee, baby Aki’s mother revealed that President Rodrigo Duterte, and senator-elect Bong Go helped them with their hotel accommodation while senator Nancy Binay and an anonymous friend shouldered their travel expenses.

Unfortunately, after 17 days of his operation baby Aki passed away. The grieving mother kept the sad news to everyone since it was very painful for the family but she was still very grateful to everyone who helped their baby Aki and their family.

“Sa lahat po ng tumulong/sumuporta sa lahat ng fundraising at nag-abot ng tulong, walang hanggang pasasalamat po sa inyong lahat. Lalong lalo na po doon sa mga taong taos pusong nagbigay ng pagmamahal sa aming Aki. Sana po mapatawad niyo ako sa di ko pagsabi agad,” the grieving mother explained. Baby Aki’s remains will be brought to his final resting place in Bicol. The family also asked for everyone’s prayer for their little angel in heaven.
