Mara Hautea Schnittka, professionally known as Julia Montes is a 24-year-old Filipino actress of German descent. She began acting as a child on television by playing guest roles and starring in Goin’ Bulilit. She gained widespread recognition with her first significant role and breakthrough playing the mean and spoiled Clara del Valle in the remake of Mara Clara in 2010 to 2011, following which she made her film debut in the family drama Way Back Home in 2011.
Her last project in the Kapamilya network was the afternoon television hit series, “Asintado” alongside Lorna Tolentino, Paulo Avelino, Shaina Magdayao, Agot Isidro, Cherry Pie Picache, and Aljur Abrenica. She portrayed the character of Ana Dimasalang, a paramedic who became Gael Ojeda’s personal nurse after saving him from an accident and fell in love with him; she becomes involved in an assassination plot arranged by the “del Mundos” and “Ojedas” upon witnessing their plan.
After her successful project, she decided to fly to Germany to spend time with her father as well as her other relatives. As she had an indefinite leave from show business, a lot of speculations surfaced as Julia has allegedly given birth with her firstborn to “Ang Probinsiyano” actor Coco Martin but both parties don’t confirm anything. But a lot of their fans and supporters were very excited about ever the rumors are true.
For the very first time, Julia Montes posted a message for Coco Martin for his 38th birthday celebration last Friday, November 1. She posted a framed photo of the actor which can be seen in ABS-CBN’s Main Building Hallway located in Quezon City around 12:30 am last Friday together with a simple caption of “HDB” with a face blowing a kiss and birthday cake emojis. It garnered enormous reactions from the people who saw the post but the comment section of her Instagram account was limited.
