Grandparents aged 87, 90, 92 revealed that drinking beer is their reason for long life!

It is common knowledge to many of us that excessive intake of alcohol can be harmful to our health. But would you dare to believe that these three ladies age 87, 90, 92 years old actually revealed that beer helps them to live a longer life compared to others? Beer is a type of beverage that is composed of 90% water, which is the most effective way to prevent kidney stones. According to some studies, drinking a bottle of beer every day can lower the risk of kidney stones by 40 percent. It also lowers the risk of kidney coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, and heart attack by 30-50 percent compared to those who don’t drink beer.

The viral post of the three ladies was shared online by a certain Froilan Pundavela. Aside from the viral post, the amazing story of these incredible ladies was featured on GMA’s popular magazine show “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Sojo” in December 2018. The grandparents were known as Lola Huling (Julia Pundavela, 92), Lola Edang (Godofreda Busante, 90), and Lola Doring (Teodoro Odtuhan, 87), the three of them are actually sisters from La Paz, Leyte.

Lola Huling’s first experience to drink “tuba” or the “coconut wine” was with her cousins. While Lola Edang admitted that it was her husband who taught her to drink beer and tuba, although she is already in a wheelchair she still continues on drinking beer. The youngest among them is Lola Doring who started drinking tuba when her spouse past away in 2013 because of hypertension. The three of them revealed that drinking this kind of beverage helps them to live a longer and happier life. It was also their bonding moments most of the time. A lot of netizens were amazed and surprised that the “Tres Marias” actually lives a happier and longer life because of it.
