SM Foundation is now accepting college scholarship applications for the academic year 2020 to 2021



Are you one of those Filipino students who have their own goals in life, to help and make their family’s life better, students who are driven, committed and dedicated to finish their studies? Maybe you can be an SM Foundation scholar! The SM Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the academic year 2020 to 2021.

If you will be given a chance to be one of the SM Foundation scholars, you will get to choose courses in accounting, information technology, engineering, and education. Scholars will be given monthly tuition and a monthly allowance. And when semestral and Christmas break comes, they will be offered part-time job opportunities. Upon graduation, they will be qualified for exclusive job offers. For the qualifications, applicants must be Grade 12 highschool graduates from public schools or private highschool graduates with DepEd voucher after completing Grade 10 from public schools in the areas covered.
Areas covered in Luzon are NCR, Albay, Bataan, Batangas, Benguet, Bulacan, Cagayan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Isabela, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Palawan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Sorsogon, Quezon, Rizal, Tarlac, Zambales. Capiz, Cebu, Iloilo, Leyte, Negros Occidental are the areas covered in the Visayas. While in Mindanao, areas covered are Agusan del Norte, Davao del Sur, Misamis Oriental, South Cotabato, Zamboanga del Sur.



Deserving applicants will be expected to have a general weighted average grade of at least 88% or its equivalent fro Grade 12 first semester. With a total household income of less than or equal to P150,000 per year. Interested applicants can fill up the online application form and other requirements such as their parent’s or Guardian’s 2018 Income Tax Return / Certification of Non-Filing of Income / Certificate of Indigency, latest Grade 12 report card, Birth Certificate, 2×2 ID picture, and sketch of home to the nearest SM mall should be attached in the form. Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2019.
