Liza Soberano is indeed one of the most admired and beautiful faces in her generation. But not everyone knew that aside from her Goddess beauty she is also a strong and determined woman.
She shared her experiences when she was still in highschool wherein she chose an electrical and welding course rather than those usual courses that many young teenagers would choose if they would be given a chance to. She chose that course over the dressmaking course offered in their school.
When Liza Soberano and her on and off screen partner Enrique Gil guested on the “Gandang Gabi Vice”, they have shared some of their memorable stories back when they were highschool. The host of the program, Vice Ganda also shared that he took up UPCAT, also known as the University of the Philippines Admission Test but then he decided not to pursue it anymore.
Liza also revealed that she was in first year highschool in Pangasinan and every quarter of the school year there are additional courses to take that is why she decided to choose welding over dressmaking because she didn’t like to do making dresses.
The young actress proudly shared that she also made a grill from stainless steel as a project and they are still using that grill until now. She added that she also took up an electrical course. This was the statement of the young Kapamilya actress:
“First year high school nag-aral po ako sa Pangasinan, per quarter po may ibang course na kailangan so ‘yung first sem ko, welding. Ayoko kasi ng dressmaking.”
“Nag-welding ako, gumawa ako ng grill, ginagamit po namin ‘yun hanggang ngayon. Yung grill pangluto, gumawa po ako, stainless steel pa po ‘yun, tapos nag-electrical din po ako.”
