Many people are really into buying products in sale, our heart races because discounted items are quite tempting, captivating, and enticing.
Short-termed discount is usually done to move out out-of-date stock or to reward valuable customers. But this is not what’s happening to a store where a netizen uncover their tricks, the netizen called it a ridiculous scam.
The netizen posted the store’s “modus”, according to him, in his social media account Facebook and many were shocked with the truth.
The netizen bought some kitchenware and later while the items he bought is being punched, he noticed that there’s something fishy going on.
While punching the items, he noticed that the POS machine is reading the item’s price differently from its price tag which is lower than its tagged price and then the 10% sale discount follows.
The tagged price is P42 but the machine reads P34 which seems to be its real price. P42 discounted by 10% is P38 but in reality, it should be P34 discounted by 10% equals to P30.4.
The thing is, you’re really not buying discounted items but you’re buying a more pricy item. Their discounted sale tactic is really deceiving and you got deceived.
